FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

what components are most important?

he CPU (Central Processing Unit) is the most important component in a new PC build because it determines your system's overall performance, responsiveness, and capability. Acting as the "brain" of your computer, a high-quality processor prevents bottlenecks and dictates how efficiently your PC handles gaming, multitasking, and demanding workflows. [1, 2, 3]
While every part matters, the CPU sets the baseline for your entire rig. Here is how it ranks alongside other essential PC components:
  • CPU (Processor): Determines base processing power. Pairing your CPU with the right motherboard is critical for component compatibility. [1, 2]
  • GPU (Graphics Processing Unit): The most vital component for gaming and visual editing. You will want to balance your CPU and GPU to maximize gaming performance.
  • RAM (Memory): Essential for smooth multitasking. Modern builds typically require a minimum of 16GB to 32GB of DDR5 RAM.
  • Storage: A high-speed NVMe SSD (Solid State Drive) is crucial for fast boot times and quick application loading.
  • PSU (Power Supply Unit): Provides stable power and protects your hardware. Always invest in an 80-Plus certified power supply to ensure reliable system stability.
  • Cooling & Case: Keeps temperatures optimal. Proper PC cooling (air or liquid) and airflow extend the lifespan of your hardware.
how much ram will i need?

or most new PC builds, 16 GB of RAM is the recommended baseline for seamless multitasking and gaming Search Console. However, for intensive tasks like 4K video editing, heavy workstation applications, or future-proofing your setup, upgrading to 32 GB of RAM is highly recommended Search Console.
Here is a quick breakdown to help you choose the right computer memory for your needs:
    • Casual Use & Office Work: 8 GB is the minimum required for web browsing, emailing, and streaming media.
    • Mainstream Gaming & Multitasking: 16 GB is the sweet spot for gaming, allowing you to play modern titles while running background apps smoothly. [1, 2, 3, 4]
    • Content Creation & Future-Proofing: 32 GB is ideal if you use demanding software like Adobe Premiere, 3D rendering engines, or want a high-performance PC that won't require immediate upgrades.

When selecting your RAM capacity, you should also pay attention to the memory type and speed, such as DDR5 RAM for modern processors, and ensure your dual-channel RAM configuration is installed properly for optimal bandwidth.
do i need liquid cooling?

You do not strictly need an AIO cooler for most setups. If you primarily use your PC for gaming, office work, or basic tasks, a high-quality air cooler is fully sufficient, cheaper, and more reliable. You should only buy an AIO if you have a high-wattage processor, a compact case, or prefer the aesthetic.
When You Should Buy an AIO Cooler
    • High-End Processors: If you run an Intel Core i7/i9 or AMD Ryzen 7/9 that draws heavy power (200W+), an AIO (such as a 360mm radiator) prevents thermal throttling.
    • Compact PC Builds: In small form factor (SFF) or Mini-ITX cases, a bulky air cooler may not fit; a liquid AIO redirects heat directly to the case exhaust.
    • Aesthetics: Many PC enthusiasts prefer AIO coolers for a cleaner view of the motherboard, RGB lighting, or built-in LCD screens.

When an Air Cooler is Better
  • Budget PC Builds: Air coolers offer higher value and better price-to-performance.
  • Reliability and Longevity: Air coolers have fewer points of failure. If a fan dies, it can be easily replaced; AIOs require replacing the whole unit if a pump fails.
  • Silence: While top-end AIOs perform slightly better under heavy all-core loads, premium air coolers are often quieter because they don't have a pump.
do i need to buy windows?

No, you do not have to buy Windows. You can download, install, and use the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system without a product key, but you will face some restrictions.

What You Miss Without a License
    • Personalization is locked: You cannot change your desktop wallpaper, accent colours, or lock screen.
    • The watermark: A permanent "Activate Windows" watermark will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen.
    • Irritating prompts: Microsoft will periodically ask you to activate your device.
    • Updates: You will still receive critical security patches, but you may miss out on optional feature updates.

What Still Works
    • You can run all your software, browse the web, and play PC games.
    • There is no time limit, and it will not disable your PC.

Buying Options
If the watermark or locked personalization becomes too frustrating, you have a few ways to get a legitimate Windows license key:
  • Retail Key: Buy a full retail license directly from Microsoft.
  • Third-party Sellers: Reputable companies (like those partnered with Microsoft) sometimes sell lifetime digital keys for significantly less.

what power supply will i need?

ensure the wattatge provided by the PSU is sufficient for all compononents installed, a high end machine will typicall need between 700 and 1200w

do you include peripherals?

yes providing its agreed apon with our engineer, we'll attemp to source the keyboard/mouse/monitor to ensure your system is ready to plug and play!

try and be as specific as possible, what do you want your pc to do? what colour? what is your budget? if you eleave your number, our next availiable engineer will attampt a call back.

due to a technical issue, the contact forms arent exactly working the way we need e'm to. with this in mind, please use my email address to contact me directly with your needs.
